Merry Christmas from SCA!

We will be back in the office from Monday 5th January 2009.

You can expect to hear about references and CRBs by Thursday 15th January.

Thanks for all your hard work this term in getting the projects started, SCA week and the wonderful Kid’s Christmas Party.

Nightshelter Volunteering Schedule

If you’ve signed up to volunteer with the Nightshelter project this year, you can now sign up for particular sessions and see who else is coming along using the nightshelter online volunteering schedule. Just sign in with your Bristol username and password to add an entry.

Become a Hall Rep Jen (SCA Coordinator)

If you are a first year in halls or a student house why not become an SCA Hall Rep.  You can organise fundraisers for SCA in hall or be involved in publicising the latest event.  It is a really good experience and a responsibility in hall that will put you in good stead for the future.

Extra induction training sessions added!

Sign up now for an SCA induction session if you’re a new volunteer and you haven’t already attended one. We have added two extra dates:

Tuesday 4th November from 4-6pm

Thursday 6th November from 6:30-8:30pm

SCA’s training programme is now ready to go! Check it out here, and sign up online now!
New volunteers must attend volunteer induction, and there are also training sessions for specific projects. You can sign up by logging into the COBS website, and clicking on ‘Book Courses’. You will find ‘Volunteer Training’ under the ‘Student Development Unit’ section.
